Most of Orth’s mythril ore was mined by the dwarves on Trollopolis, which contained the greatest known concentration of the metal. Other deposits have been found in the Dwarven Mountains.
The First Being’s decree made Trollopolis his personal property, to be exploited for the Empire’s benefit. Mining eventually hollowed out and weakened the island. Extraction took place while it floated near Gor’Raj’Ka, reducing the transport required to reach the Imperial Mint.
TBA records state that the Mint was expanded thirty-seven times to handle the ore. The resulting supply contributed to Gor’Raj’Ka’s rise as a financial centre and allowed mythril to be used in imperial currency, enchantments and clothing.
