Copper

This well-known pure metal has a distinctive pink-orange sheen, and is noted for its heat-conducting properties. It is also used for many decorative purposes thanks to its appearance, as well as the appealing blue-green patina that forms on older pieces, as an ingredient in various alloys such as bronze and brass, and in coinage.
