Platinum

This light gray metal with very slight bluish tinge is strong, difficult to melt, and resistant to most chemicals. It would probably be very good for weapons if it wasn't extremely rare and very difficult to forge. As such, it is only commonly used for currency and bullion, however jewelers have been known to use it for Crafting.
