One of the South Gate's old doors, its top shredded by ballista shots during The Siege of Mor'Koc, now stands on a plinth in the city's marketplace as a memorial to those who died in the Imperial Wars. Carved across its massive oak surface are the names of all those who died in the Siege, while across the entirety of the marketplace is a name on every one of the thousands of bricks in the paving, each one the name of an Imperial citizen who never made it home. As such, it is also the location of the annual Veterans' Day remembrance ceremony.
Next to the walls and near the National Imperial Wars Memorial, you’ll find a statue of Captain Syx the Silver of the Mor’Koc Militia, holding up a section of a wall which is collapsing onto a Troll child as she fights off a pair of Elven soldiers, built in honour of those who banded together during the Siege to protect their homes and those they cared about. The statue also contains a Dragonling nest on top of the wall; this fact is most famous as it was not included on the original design, but moulded from Mythril and appeared after it’s unveiling.
