Blood o' My Fathers

This gigantic greataxe was created by master blacksmith Ephri McHayden for her own use during her years adventuring with The Golden Knights under the eye of Eslo Lightfoot. It has not been used since Ephri retired from adventuring in 3A 191, and currently hangs on the back wall of McHayden Forge in plain view of the front desk.

Blood O' My Fathers is around 11' long, and of a traditional Giantish bearded axe design. The head is made of a steel made using a small amount of silver to give it a bright sheen. It also has a small amount of mythril in it as Ephri melted a mythril necklace that belonged to her legendary ancestor, the master smith Edgar McHayden, into the steel while working it. The handle is an ironwood branch with the twigs cut off and strengthened with steel bands. The head is chipped and the handle slightly cracked from over two decades of solid use, but it's solidly built and could still be used in a pinch. In the hands of someone who is truly skilled with it, it could be as truly devastating as it was in Ephri's own hands. As it stands, it is extremely unlikely that Ephri will let anyone outside of her own family even touch it, let alone use it.

Breach - Weapon

This weapon is designed to fight foes who wear heavy armour, slashing helms, denting breast plates and slicing shields alike. The first attack a weapon with this quality makes each turn against a foe in Heavy or Medium armour gains advantage.

Brutal - Weapon

A weapon with the Brutal property deals damage in a vicious and visceral way. As a result when you roll a critical hit you can roll one additional weapon damage die when determining the extra damage for a critical hit with a melee attack.

Enlarged - Weapon

This weapon is oversized and difficult to use for people it was not intended for. A weapon with the Enlarged property can only be used normally by a Large or larger creature. Medium creatures must pass a Str check of DC15 to use it and the weapon gains the Unwieldy property for that individual. Small or smaller creatures cannot use it.

Maiming - Weapon

This weapon specialises in severing limbs from your opponents. When you score a critical hit with this weapons you may choose to deal the extra damage or have the enemy roll on the Lingering Injuries table.

Masterwork - Weapon

Due to the sheer quality of this weapon it does more damage. in all areas this weapon is far superior than others of its design. This weapon deals an extra damage die. You cannot add the Masterwork property to a weapon after it is created.
