Daggers are used by most thieves, assassins, and often as a sidearm by soldiers.

Ashraiah "Ash" el Sabine owns an antique 2A Elven dagger which she continues to keep on her for potential self-defence.
Shayla Fitzreine owns a pair of ornate masterwork daggers, but rarely is seen using them.
Aoife Lyniela uses one as her signature weapon.
Black Claw usually carries at least one on his person at all times.

Concealed - Weapon

A weapon with the Concealed property is smaller or looks mundane and can be hidden more easily. You gain advantage on Dex (Sleight of Hand) checks and Cha (Deception) checks when you are trying to hide your weapon.

Finesse - Weapon

When making an attack with a finesse weapon, you use your choice of your Str or Dex modifier for the attack and damage rolls. You must use the same modifier for both rolls.

Thrown - Weapon

Melee weapons balanced for throwing and dealing damage from near and far. Throwing weapons have a range increment in their stat block determining their effective range, and may be recovered after they have been thrown. Thrown weapons with the ammunition property, such as the dagger and dart, may be drawn and thrown as part of an attack.
