An advancement from the standard Parrying Dagger, the blade of this dagger has sturdy tines along the back edge of the blade. The slots formed between the tines can be used to catch and "bite" (or grab) the opponent's blade. However, the name is a slight misnomer as most swords are too strong for just wrist movements to break and are instead used for Disarming the opponent.

Techniques with this weapon involve blocking and weaving as much as they do attacking. When a creature damages you with a weapon attack while you are wielding this weapon, you may use your reaction to reduce the damage by your Dex modifier.
A weapon with the Disarming property is specially designed to disarm an opponent. They often have hooks, curved blades, angled spikes, or wrapping chains.
If you are proficient with a Disarming weapon, you add your proficiency bonus to disarm checks while wielding it.
When making an attack with a finesse weapon, you use your choice of your Str or Dex modifier for the attack and damage rolls. You must use the same modifier for both rolls.
