The Vencien River is a major river that flows through the center of the Silvery Peninsula in Penoccida. While most of the water flowing through it originates from the underground springs that form Lake Vulne, its true source lies in a smaller spring further north. It flows southward and into the Bay of Bounty.
The river has played an important role in the establishment of a couple Penoccidan cities, the most notable of which being Islegate. As it is navigable by most ships, it connects the inside of Penoccida with the sea. Its estuary has also proven beneficial, forming a natural harbor for Islegate and providing foods such as fish and the endemic Vulnan Terrapin.
