KINGSTON
Codex communes with his Goddess and asks if Lionne Kyngstowne and Araglas Kyngstowne are still alive. According to Ioun, they are still alive.
Codex, Maud, and Able go to the the Royal quarter to speak to Queen Cecily, while Berdyn and Simon go to help clean up the poor quarter.
We find out that the Southern Kingdoms have a group of 7 judges, brought forward by each of the seven southern lands. They are appointed, or chosen, or elected depending on each land.
These seven lands include the Kingdom of the Tiger and the Southern Dwarven Mountains, but they have self-rule.
One of the interesting things about the Southern kingdom is that dying and resurrection does not remove them from the succession, and if a parent is disinherited, the children still have a legal claim for succession.
Dueling culture is strong in the Southern Kingdom, and champions can be called in their stead. They encourage mercy when a duel is done. A duel between peers is very difficult to refuse without dishonor.
The Kingdom of the Tiger will have a more complete set of the laws of the Southern Kingdoms. They will be able to help us further.
Tomorrow we will be returning the Xorn home.
