Lasthaven – The Wounded Boar
We meet and discuss the plan. The expedition north requires money and goodwill. The bulletin board in the Wounded Boar has jobs we can do for money and to gain goodwill.
So, we start with a lost girl and a lost puppy.
The Woods
Simon tracks down the little girl Cynthia in the woods, she wandered after some deer. We find her in the bushes, cold and hungry, and menaced by a giant weasel. The Weasel was quickly killed, and Cynthia fed and sheltered.
On the way back Berdyn hears the barking of the puppy Fury, and rescue the dog from a pair of very angry wolves. The wolves are killed, Fury is rescued.
LastHaven
We return Cynthia to her mother Katla, and the puppy Fury to the Gold family. Veren thanks us for finding his son Valya’s dog. Katla is overjoyed and has us over for dinner.
We learn about Katla’s dead husband, and her job at White Star Trading as a repacker. She lives in a run-down house. We secretly return some of the money she gives us as a reward.
