Road to Lasthaven
A thunderstorm stops us, so we have to spend the day waiting out the storm at the Hunter’s cabin near the lake.
Codex plays Three Dragon Ante with Uhurak.
In the evening we are attacked by a pair of Land Sharks or Bulettes. Land sharks are rapacious eating machines, travelling through the earth. They greatly dislike Elf and Dwarf flesh, but adore Halfling flesh. They head after Maud, thinking she’s a Halfling.
Codex manages to banish one of them using some of Berdyn’s spilled blood, and we are able to focus fire, killing one, and then killing the other when it returns.
