Hidden deep within the Garlag Mountain Range, Heelspike is the only city in the world where the gods of the dark realm are officially worshipped.
A massive sprawling city of gothic spires and vast stone monuments, dark alleys and dangerous taverns, battered by freezing mountain winds and often cloaked in foggy clouds it is a place that is hard to get to and nearly impossible to escape.
Amongst the aristocracy it is a world of deadly power games, for those born less fortunate, it is a world of brutal oppression, fear and violence.
Here magic is practised which is banned everywhere else and the effects of those sinister arts have seeped into every brick and flagstone. The streets radiate an aura which everyone who walks them finds disconcerting at best and terrifying at worst.
