Maddening Mines

The mining district has shafts that lead deep into the mountain. Here precious wrathstone are extracted by workers both living and those still toiling after their deaths thanks to the necromantic powers of their masters the Ren Family. There are rumours that the miners see strange things deep in the mines. 

The Ren Family are the most powerful of the mining operations but all the houses have mines here. All of it is taxed by the king.
