Zorrath
In the blood-soaked hierarchy of the Gilded Skulls, the Slaughterpriest stands as both spiritual guide and enforcer of Khorne’s will. This figure of dark reverence is the closest confidant and advisor to Moranak, providing counsel not in words of strategy but in the fiery sermons of blood and devotion. His voice is the thunderous call that rouses the warband to greater acts of slaughter, his rituals binding them ever closer to the Blood God’s favor.
The Slaughterpriest also holds the sacred responsibility of performing the Ritual of Skull Gilding, a ceremony in which the skulls of worthy foes are purified in blood and dipped into molten gold. This act transforms the spoils of war into holy relics, reminders of Khorne’s power and the warband’s dominance. His hammer and incantations echo through the camp as he presides over this grim and golden sacrament.
To protect his sacred duties, the Slaughterpriest commands a personal guard of Auric Fangs. These loyal warriors act as his agents, spreading his decrees across the warband and ensuring that Khorne’s laws are obeyed. They are as much enforcers as they are protectors, a reflection of the Slaughterpriest’s dual role as shepherds within the Gilded Skulls.
