AGONIZEL SILVERMASK
Agonizel Silvermask is the leader of the cult "Coven of Tears" which is the parent cult of "Followers of Agonizel".
History:
Beginnings:
-Agonizel struggled to earn herself a position in the sea of mortals and Daemons fighting for Slaanesh´s favors. Those who came before and earned great renown would hog all the spotlight with everyone else being left behind hunting for scraps and she knew that she would need a way to stand out from the crowd. She decided that Excess of pain and pleasure were certainly not in short supply and would need a more fresh avenue until eventually settling on the excess of despair. Plenty of Hedonites struck fear in their enemies so she would need to strife for a very specific kind of despair of losing everything you hold dear. She would start small, kidnapping some peasant and leaving them stuck in a fantasy where their life went perfectly with everything in their life coming their way. While the illusion was really difficult to maintain alone the experiment had far too much to offer and once the peasant reached his peak happiness the illusion was stopped. The peasant was confused at first but soon all started to make sense... all the memories of his real life, of how he was kidnapped came back like a flood crashing through his perfect fantasy as slowly the realization set in... It was all a lie... all he ever loved wasnt even real and the despair that started to fill his soul was more then enough to break him. The act reached excess that wasnt seen in a long time in this field and for a fraction of a second Agonizel could feel Slaanesh´s gaze upon her. It was short but undeniable... Slaanesh noticed her and in that moment she knew she was on the right track.
Forming of Coven of Tears:
-Once the act of excess of finished and Slaanesh gazed upon her she got to work. Other Daemonettes quickly noticed that she smelled of Slaanesh themselves and as she offered that anyone who joins her the same gift she quickly gained a following. They would settle in Thondia quickly kidnapping whatever locals were around and stealing many magic items to fuel the ritual in hopes the process would be never ending. After starting a small scale campaign which while in high losses granted her enough materials to fully establish the cult and as long as they had enough people to kidnap a never ending stream of despair.
Campaign in Gnarlwood:
-After the campaign ended the last few members of the original Followers of Agonizel were sent to Gnarlwood after rumours of rich treasure spread far and wide. It was a test to see if they were worth keeping as more then loyal slaves. Though complications arose from the followers cutting communications the riches they managed to get more then made up for it helping form what would soon become the off branch Followers of Agonizel.
Campaign for the crown of the Fire king:
-Through whispers in the warp Agonizel got the news that the Fire king in the Edgerealms has died and that his crown which was a powerful magic item had yet to be claimed. She wasted no time and offered her services to the duke Vilebroth Viper. She kept her Slaaneshi nature a secret using illusion though she had little expectations of her origin ruining any dealings. She offered the duke help in claiming the crown for himself at the cost of taking the magic found within it for herself. They spent the entire night arguing over a deal but in the end they both came to an agreement.
-The campaign ended with Agonizel losing several times and her leadership being questioned, but as she always does she manages to get her way by turning things around last minute. A small group of dragon riding Stormcasts were about to fly in and support the dukes enemies if it wasnt for Agonizels spies learning of their path. Through a careful ambush they caught the dragon riders off guard though their draconic nature still proved difficult to fight. Major blows were exchanged on both sides but once the dragon side of the Storm Cast envoy was taken down it was clear who got the Pyrrhic victory.
-In the end it was duke Vilebroth who claimed the crown. Though Agonizels loses were many it was undeniable that making sure the Stormcasts couldnt get their dragons in against his forces and so she earned her reward. The magic she got from the crown was enough for a ritual that would help her ascend to greater Daemonhood as a Keeper of Secrets. So close to what she could only dream of but there was one small issue, if she spends her time on the ascension then the excess of despair would slow down. She would need a second base of operation to fuel the cult as she focused on ascending.
Forming of the "Followers of Agonizel":
-After long thinking she settled that her mortal regiments deserved another test. Aluthari Barbsong would be sent to the Ravaged Coast and take advantage of its wartorn nature only having to take orders from Agonizel directly. Aluthari would pick Sinal Blacktorn and Libidash Blacktorn as her right and left hand men, and more importantly as commanders in battle. If they succeed in setting up a second base of operation their reward would be great as Agonizel would be able to ascend to greater Daemonhood but if they were to fail the illusion they would be trapped in would be worse than anything they have been through yet...
