Kyros’ Hounds

Kyros’ Hounds are a pack of Gryph-Hounds, renowned for their unmatched loyalty and fearsome prowess in battle. Their tale of glory began in the haunted lands of Shyish, when Knight-Questor Kyros Vrax found himself ensnared by the abominable forces of the Flesh-Eater Courts. Deep within a forsaken necropolis, Kyros and his retinue were ambushed by the cannibalistic ghouls of King Odraza, a twisted monarch whose hunger for mortal flesh knew no bounds. Surrounded and outnumbered, Kyros was on the verge of defeat when the Kyros' Hounds descended upon the battlefield. Their sharp claws tore through the ghoul-horde, and with their ferocious attacks, they provided the opening Kyros needed to slay King Odraza and scatter the remaining ghouls into the shadows. The Hounds' relentless ferocity and impeccable coordination turned the tide, cementing their place in legend.

These creatures are as striking in appearance as they are deadly. Their fur is a rich ochre or light brown, blending seamlessly with the barren, windswept landscapes of Shyish, while their feathers are deep violet, glimmering faintly with otherworldly energy. The Kyros’ Hounds have an unnatural ability to sense necromantic energy, allowing them to track down the corrupted and the undead with a precision that borders on the supernatural. Their senses are finely tuned and quick to react, charging with blinding speed to tear through any foe unlucky enough to stand before them. Fiercely loyal to Kyros Vrax, these Hounds are more than just companions—they are his divine protectors, acting as his scouts and guardians, ever vigilant and prepared to face any horror the realms may throw at them.
