Soulkeepers

Soulkeepers are a stormcoven, a trio of warrior-mages bound by shared purpose and arcane mastery. Composed of Eryndor Flamewright, Calissa Shadebloom, and their leader, Tharos Dreadwind, the trio wields potent magic in perfect unison, their spells harmonizing to create devastating effects on the battlefield. Though they follow Morvak Blackflame in their broader mission, Tharos has a unique bond with Kyros Vrax, having been his closest companion in their mortal lives. This friendship often bridges the divide between the pragmatic Morvak and the more impetuous Kyros, as Tharos seeks to balance the tensions within the Watch.

The Soulkeepers’ most renowned deed came during the Siege of Duskhaven, a forlorn village under assault by an alliance of Chaos sorcerers. With the villagers’ souls at risk of being enslaved, the stormcoven enacted a daring plan. Tharos conjured a barrier of shadowflame to repel the invaders, while Eryndor and Calissa unleashed a torrent of celestial energy that shattered the Chaos mages’ defences. Their heroism not only saved the village but also ensured the safe passage of dozens of souls to Azyr, preventing their corruption. This victory solidified the Soulkeepers’ reputation as both saviours and masters of the arcane.

Despite their cohesion in battle, the Soulkeepers are not without their struggles. Tharos’ loyalty to Kyros occasionally clashes with his duty to Morvak, creating subtle undercurrents of conflict. Yet, the trio remains steadfast, united by their shared belief in the sanctity of souls and their commitment to the mission of the Obsidian Watch. Together, they serve as both the magical might and moral compass of the Watch, their presence a beacon of hope amidst the darkness.
