Temple of Bel-Ashtar

Dormant Forge

Positioned in front of the churning hellscape that is The Gnaw, there is a great Duardin ruin. Yet in the days of old, it was known as the great temple of Bel-Ashtar.

Long ago, a sect of Fyreslayers believed that Grimnir's soul would rekindle in a cycle of reincarnation. One of these incarnations was Bel-Ashtar, a particular mighty Grimwrath Berserker who claimed to be the voice of Grimnir. He and his followers retreated from the other lodges who branded him a heretic, and on the distant eastern shores, he built a remote stronghold. There, his cult is said to have created great wonders. Though all who tried to venture to his hold was met with a wave of magma, for Bel-Ashtar saw enemies in all.

Even after his passing, the stronghold of Bel-Ashtar stood tall. That was until the Necroquake, when the spirits of the dead rose across the realms. Since then, all coomunication from the hold dropped, and while its fate is uncertain, even a troggoth can guess what tragedies transpired deep within the mountainous halls.

Ever so slowly, news has come out that the fires within the temple have been doused. Evermore eyes are drawn upon Bel-Ashtar's hold, waging the risks on entering his forsaken halls. Yet if the legends are true, great riches will be gained by any who can call this stronghold theirs.
