The Cult of Zelial

The Cult of Zelial was formed during the intermediate era of the The Alammar Empire, formed as an offbranch of a legitimate Zelial church as a more extreme group. During the early days, it was a disorganized, small group, most coordination attempts being put down by Alammaran forces. But after Aurland rose to power in The Holy Imperium of Moneeri, he took charge of the group, being an Emissary of Zelial. Now the group serves as a secretive agency for Aurland rather than an actual cult for Zelial. There was a tiny little rebellion because of this during the Great Crusade, but it was brutally put down. It is now become more of a spy and assassination service than a cult.
