Necromancy comes from a dead Ancient God of Death. It was started from the pursuit of immortality, where magicians would raise the dead to test different methods to become immortal. The full weaponized potential of raising the dead was realized during the Age of Frost. Necromancy is now outlawed throughout most of the world.
