To her victims, the Outsider always feels close enough to know their every move. The Inguma selects her victim with a touch or a few moments of conversation. Once per day thereafter she may send the victim a message; this can take various forms such as a brief voicemail, a few lines of text on a mirror, or a single object no larger than Size 1. The next time the victim is alone, he notices the message. Though the message feels real, it exists entirely within the victim’s mind. It vanishes when he takes his attention from it or tries to prove its existence to others. The Inguma can only have a single victim at a time, and knows exactly when each message has been received.
