The Western District is located in the northwest of the empire. It is mountainous and densely forested. It is historically one of the least developed regions, composed of many small principalities and independent cities which maintain a great deal of autonomy. However recent technological developments have improved communication and interconnectedness over the past decades, gradually decreasing the distance between this district and the rest of the empire. Think Northern Eastern Europe such as Poland, Slovakia, and Belarus.
