Tribal Trials and Tribulations 1

I have long since learned you cannot teach if you do not know. I do not know these pups before me. Some a rash and arrogant and some are quiet and reserved. But why are they this way should they be. Who am I am to say but I know I must get to know them better so perhaps I can show them a thing or two. I watched while they discussed and bickered around the house of the hunters to see what they thought about this and that. I added my pelts to the purchase (ahem....excuse my 2 cents...is that right?) as necessary and watched some more. We know humans we can predict what they will do. go for guns and silver to protect themselves. We chose wisely and used our abilities to our advantage got in and out and caused a good blow to those backshootin' backside worshippin' Waupecony Modocs. and got away....some better than others

I then wanted to see how they would react when presented with the unknown. Just as luck would have it we ended up needing to raid a damn nest of vampires.
I have not run in circles who vampires for sport as well those circles tend to get broken that aside I watched again added my own chaos to it and watched the pot boil some.

They now seem to have a death wish and all for the sake of not appearing weak.....I would like to pass on a bit of oral tradition to them...."You cannot appear anything if you are dead". I'll of course go along with it as we will need to be in this together if we are to come out alive to keep on making a difference for the better.

An old Crow is teaching his grandson about life.

“A fight is going on inside me,” he said to the boy. “It is a terrible fight and it is between two wolves. One is evil – he is anger, envy, sorrow, regret, greed, arrogance, self-pity, guilt, resentment, inferiority, lies, false pride, superiority, and ego.”

He continued, “The other is good – he is joy, peace, love, hope, serenity, humility, kindness, benevolence, empathy, generosity, truth, compassion, and faith. The same fight is going on inside you – and inside every other person, too.”

The grandson thought about it for a minute and then asked his grandfather, “Which wolf will win?”

The old Crow simply replied, “The one you feed.”

I hope the pups in the lead of this new Rocky Mountain High feed the right one, but I doubt they will. I will help where I can when I can, trip them if they need it to learn. But is that enough? Only time will tell....heh.
