A precinct under the control of the Church family. It is known for having the mostly northerly desert in the empire and for having several stumps of Magna Arbour giant trees of the same variety as the Prangels inhabit but with their tops cut off. The sites are considered dangerous and in an attempt to preserve them and stop them being harvested for their wood, Menbar Unam sealed them off early in his reign and when the Seadar took over the empire they continued the ban. Anyone caught exploring, destroying or being within half a mile of the stumps faces the death penalty.
