The landscape of Demoña is formed from lava flows left behind by ancient volcanic eruptions. Scattered around were strange stone pillars and rock formations, smoothed by the wind into natural sculptures. Everywhere the terrain was unforgiving and the temperature changed dramatically. Few outsiders entered Demoña, and fewer lingered there long enough to explore. It was believed to be a cold and harsh wasteland of ferocious monsters and an evil land shunned and little spoken of by even the bravest of adventurers.
Demoña covers an area of 401 thousand square kilometers. Of this, 2% (8 thousand square kilometers) is arable land and 98% (393 thousand square kilometers) is wilderness.
Demoña has a total population of 172,182.
There are several fortresses and 3 small towns. The rest of the population lives in numerous small villages, hamlets, isolated dwellings, etc.
