Previous Episode: Voyage of the Cursed Dawn - S01 E05
Following the Heartseeker compass, the adventurers and Marella Thorne’s crew arrived at the ruins of the temple that once housed the Fountain of Youth. The sacred site had been reduced to a waterlogged ruin, where preserved corpses of long-dead pirates and soldiers floated eerily. As they investigated, Red Flint glimpsed a glowing white figure wandering the ruins, but the rest of the party saw nothing before it disappeared. When Juulia Troski disturbed one of the floating bodies, a ghost emerged, attacking the party. Meanwhile, Rasa Arziki, aided by Abby’s mysterious power, managed to bring another ghost back to life. The revived soldier, confused and disoriented, spoke in an unknown language and immediately feared Flint, believing him to be a devil.
Wanting to ensure Marella’s intentions were true, the party cast a truth spell on her. She sincerely wished to complete her father’s quest, seeking no hidden agenda. Convinced, they allowed her to perform the ritual. Butters P. Nutts, in an act of casual chaos, tossed a peanut into the fountain’s hole, permanently stopping the flow of water with no apparent way to remove it. Just as they processed what had happened, Santa Claus suddenly arrived with his elves, prepared to distribute gifts. However, Juulia inadvertently offended him by suggesting that elves had been sacrificed for the ritual, causing Santa to leave in anger, taking the gifts with him. With the ritual complete but the fountain seemingly damaged, the adventurers and Marella’s crew returned to her hideout, where the session concluded.
