Previous Episode: Voyage of the Cursed Dawn - S02 E10
The session picked up immediately after Rasa Arziki leapt from the airship after Abby. As the rest of the party’s small airship spiraled downward toward disaster, Rasa managed to catch Abby mid-air. Attempting to cut the ropes binding her hands while falling, he accidentally sliced off part of his own finger. Moments before impact, Rasa cast a teleportation spell, bringing both of them safely close to the ground. Rasa landed in a small pond while Abby landed unharmed nearby. Meanwhile, the others survived the crash of the airship and regrouped in the surrounding wilderness. Nearby, they discovered a stone marker engraved with a simple message and arrow pointing northwest:
“Baldor”
Not far from the crash site, the party encountered a small traveling camp of Delverkin (dwarves). The group explained they were journeying toward Baldor, an underground city, before eventually traveling onward to Dhil Badur, the capital of the Dyandar Islands. Rasa and Abby reunited with the others at the camp. The Delverkin warned the party about the dangerous cave route leading into Baldor and asked if the adventurers would help clear and secure the path before the caravan traveled through it themselves. The group agreed and entered the cavern leading toward the underground city. Their leader, Elstrun kindly took Arnold under their protection. Session ends.
