Cassiael is the godess of nature and one of the oldest and most prominent deities in the Celestial Pantheon. The Church of Cassiaell had a significant influence, especially on the continent of Eredonia. Its worshipers protected natural areas from the encroachment of civilization and were uncompromising enemies of industrious peoples.
Non-worshipers often viewed the church unfavorably due to its tendency to disrupt expansion into the forest, sometimes with violence. Examples of worship rituals included prayers for spells at sunset or by moonlight. Most Cassiael clerics, also known as foresters, also functioned as druids or rangers.
