The fairy-like Gealach elves are a mystical and primal people in touch with the nature of the jungle and the moon that watches over them. Living in the steppes of the new continent, they aren't often seen by anyone except by the snow leopards and the other truinsear elves. They often hold a place among the steppe elves as the religious leaders, often groups of them occupying the only permanent settlements among the steppe owned by the elves. They also maintain one large temple called the moon archives that is their main collection of knowledge among the steppe elves.

Might be fairies.

They are short for an elf often being between 4'8" to 5'5". They have very light colors often having shades of light blue and purple. They are of thin build. They have lunar wings that come in many shapes and colors. The common patterns for these wings are that of a dragon fly or a butterfly.

The great redwood forest.

They live in mountain bases of the steppes only. The mountains provide a defensive point, but also serves as a clean point of meditation. They don't quite live as high up the mountain in the snowy peaks as the snow leopards do, but do maintain relations with them. They live in mountain bases of the steppes only. The tend a large forest of red woods where the fog rests at the base. The mighty trees at home where the sun warms the tree tops and the fog blankets the trunks. Thier homeland is protected, but only by the raw strength of the wild truinsear elves and the wisdom of the Gealach to guide them. The ancient red wood trees being small in number are over protected by the elves there.

Wanderlust.

Most Gealach tend to be clerics or druids. All of them revere the moon goddess. Her teachings lead them to a more wholesome life. Those that adventure can be practically any class, but those individual often get wander lust. Many go on a pilgrimage whether they are a fighter or a cleric to learn more about the world before going home to settle down. Many often end up with truinsear tribes as an advisor, using their deep wisdoms to share with the tribes. They don't stay too long as the open world calls to them. Almost of them are from the mountains in the steppe. Very few settle down elsewhere.

Gealach Elf Traits.

Ability Score Increase.

You can increase any ability score by 2 and any other score by 1.

Age.
Although elves reach physical maturity at about the same age as humans, the elven understanding of adulthood goes beyond physical growth to encompass worldly experience. An elf typically claims adulthood and an adult name around the age of 100 and can live to be 750 years old.

Alignment.
Elves love freedom, variety, and self-expression, so they lean strongly towards the gentler aspects of chaos. They value and protect others' freedom as well as their own, and are good more often than not. Drow are an exception; their exile into the Underdark has made them vicious and dangerous. Drow are more often evil than not.

Size.
Elves range from under 5 to over 6 feet tall and have slender builds. Your size is Medium.

Speed.
Your base walking speed is 30 feet.

Darkvision.
Accustomed to twilit forests and the night sky, you have superior vision in dark and dim conditions. You can see in dim light within 60 feet of you as if it were bright light, and in darkness as if it were dim light. You can't discern color in darkness, only shades of gray.

Fey Ancestry.
You have advantage on saving throws against being charmed, and magic can't put you to sleep.

Trance.
Elves do not sleep. Instead they meditate deeply, remaining semi-conscious, for 4 hours a day. The Common word for this meditation is "trance." While meditating, you dream after a fashion; such dreams are actually mental exercises that have become reflexive after years of practice. After resting in this way, you gain the same benefit a human would from 8 hours of sleep.

Keen Senses.
You have proficiency in the Perception skill.

Lunar Wings.
You unleash the blessing of Selune, causing two luminous, incorporeal set of moth or butterfly wings to sprout from your back. As an action, your transformation lasts for 1 minute or until you end it as a bonus action. During it, you have a flying speed of 30 feet. Once you use this trait, you can't use it again until you finish a long rest.
Blessing of Selune.
You know the Dancing light cantrip. When you reach 3rd level, you can cast the Faerie fire spell once with this trait and regain the ability to do so when you finish a long rest.

Languages.
You can speak, read, and write Common and Elven.
