Places of worship

Worshipers

Typically it’s Desert Elves that worship her, but among the denizens of the Apjin culture there is a healthy mix of humans, some dragonborn, and a mix of non-humanoid creatures among which you can count the sphinx. Among the worshipers there are a few desert druids circles.

  Clerics

Clerics of the temple have several duties. Most clerics in small towns or villages help oversee the harvest, heal the sick, and cast the dead into the afterlife. The temple of the three usually has three clerics at minimum one for each worship of each goddess. Each take their share of the responsibility. In the bigger cities its more likely to find entire buildings dedicated to worship of a specific goddess, but often each goddess will have an equal number of temples. Typically heads of the clergy are female, but rarely a male can make head priest for any goddess.

Affiliated orders

The Black Chitin: Heavily armored warriors and paladins of grave and life. They generally dress in dark clothing and heavy armors. Often they work for the local theocracy and work as enforcers of the law and punishers of the wicked.

The Lotus Dancers: A special sect of the clergy and often villages who attend temple trained in traditional Apjin belly dancing. Many bards of glamour and belly dancing come from this group.
