Zevna was the goddess of war, victory, sanctuary, oaths, and justice in the old Irkasian Pantheon. She still sees moderate worship as a saint under Erazin; soldiers and law enforcement often pray to her for intercessions. She is also the patron saint of those facing impossible odds.
Unlike most other war deities, Zevna did not demand acts of violence from her followers. She was a stern but compassionate goddess with a strong sense of justice; though she expected her followers to defend the innocent by any means necessary (including war), she expected them to seek out nonviolent solutions whenever they could reasonably do so.
History
Depictions
In most art, Zevna is depicted as a scarred, strongly built woman with dark eyes and hair. She wears plate armor which has seen its fair share of battle; it is pierced in places and dented in others. She usually wields a spear and a shield — the latter still holds two immense fangs, broken in half.
Other depictions emphasize Zevna's role as a protector deity and show her holding up her shield as a dome of light envelops her and the civilians at her feet.

Rituals & Offerings
Zevna rarely asked for material offerings. Instead, worshippers honored her through action. Zevna looked favorably upon those who fought injustice in all of its forms, whether defending travelers from bandits, deposing an unjust ruler, or distributing food to the hungry.
Followers
In the old Irkasian pantheon's prime, Zevna's followers often banded into orders which would later serve as the foundation for Irkasy's law enforcement agencies. Zevna's clerics and paladins were widely respected among Irkasy's human population, even in rural communities and frontier towns, as they were known to act justly and efficiently. Offering these faithful quarter was considered an offering to Zevna herself and was rewarded accordingly.
With the fall of the old pantheon, many of the orders closed their doors. However, a handful still remain and carry on their work with the blessings of the agencies which took their place.
Zevna's clerics and paladins often wore black raiment trimmed with crimson and silver.
