- Kyldaross was defeated 27 Mirasaer 2157 by the party, Vyrmith, and combined forces drawn from various settlements in the mountain range. Many lives were lost during the battle, and in the forging of the sword which would ultimately kill him.
- Kyldaross has changed dramatically in the past year, since he flew up north to the far end of the tundra. His white scales have taken on a mottled blue tone, and his eyes blaze with a blue fire. It also appears that his magical capabilities have been drastically amplified, as he can pass on his newfound "gifts" to other beings and create corrupted ice formations through which he can survey his surroundings.
- Old tales hold that Kyldaross is the spawn of The One Who Lurks Beneath the Ice, a terrible dragon-like creature as old as Aghera itself.
- Kyldaross is believed to have slain Vyrmith's mate, Zyrgara.
- Kyldaross can sense Vengr, the Dragonsbane Sword, and has used it to track the party. The party has theorized that the sword must be in some way connected to him, as it glows when he is nearby.
- According to Ynriss, his son, Kyldaross approached his long-time rival Vyrmith in a rare show of diplomacy to propose an alliance against an unknown threat. Vyrmith declined.
- According to the few of his followers that the party has spoken to, Kyldaross is offering his “gift” to protect the denizens of the Svelagr Mountain Range from the threat of “the Rot and the Flame.” They accepted the gift willingly and claimed to retain their free will.
- Kyldaross, in a later conversation with the party, echoed these claims. He further explained that he killed those who refused his gift in order to prevent them from later “feeding the flame.”
