Gogloth

• According to Milosz (a fellow druid) and Imryl Dhunnal (a fellow clan member), Gogloth never exhibited destructive or malicious tendencies. In fact, he was last seen studying the strange fungal growths which would later overtake him in hopes of containing the damage that they’ve caused to his clan’s lands.
• The party has yet to find the original Gogloth. They have fought three simulacra, one which they managed to speak to after releasing it from its birthing pod.
  • The newborn simulacrum seemed to maintain a trace of the original Gogloth, as it expressed confusion and fear about its surroundings. It attempted warning the party about a being that is controlling him but was interrupted when said being took the reins. The party was then forced to destroy the simulacrum. 
• Maddoc reported seeing a drow matching Gogloth's description heading deep into the Shimmering Woods, presumably towards the "grovekeeper." He was accompanied by several other corrupted humanoids. The party later destroyed the simulacra and the corrupted "seed" that it was attempting to plant in the heart of the grove.
