Bugbear

Bugbears are the largest of the goblinoid races, and the most bestial in appearance. They are covered in dense fur and equipped with large claws and fangs, which helped them survive the wilds of their native Altangor.

Bugbears have no formal civilization of their own and live instead on the fringes of hobgoblin society, where they are often enlisted as menial laborers or shock troops. While many bugbears resign themselves to those fates, others set off for distant shores, offering their services as mercenaries or guards.
