- Jorzath serves Iz'geruuth, the Lord of Despair.
- Jorzath does not appear to be on the best of terms with his master. He has told the party, in so many terms, that he wishes to break free of him.
- Despite his allegiances, Jorzath does not seem to be bent on Aghera's destruction. He believes that killing its inhabitants is "bad for business," as the dead cannot produce the nightmares that he feeds on.
- Jorzath seems relatively honest in his dealings.
- Jorzath seems to have had past dealings with Feyndor, since he referred to Feyndor as a rival and spoke with familiarity.
- Given what the party has told her about Jorzath, Vyrmith does not believe that he will be a major threat if freed from Iz'geruuth. She does not, however, think that the artifact that he has charged the party with finding should fall into his hands.
Jorzath, Lord of Nightmare, is a lesser devil lord.
