Nabira is a nature spirit who often takes the form of a pitch-black leopardess with fiery markings. She is also said to appear as a whirlwind of embers, or a dark-skinned woman with fiery hair. Though she is one of the oldest members of the Ibayan pantheon, she is also one of the most enigmatic, and sees little formal worship among the general population.
Nabira's name is often invoked by hunters and travelers crossing Ibaya's wildlands. She is also popular among thieves guilds and assassins in Ibaya, who call upon her predatory prowess and cunning.
Some religious scholars believe that Nabira — like Sanezha and Xehena — is an aspect of a more powerful nature deity which may have once been the counterpart of Yznas.
