Mistwalkers are large felines native to Irkasy and northern Targues, so-called because of their ability to fade into the mists that sweep over the mountain ranges that they call home.
Mistwalkers possess near-human intelligence and the ability to speak sylvan, which makes their classification as beasts contentious. They are believed to have descended from simpler felines which were subjected to the fallout from The Scorching and developed supernatural abilities as a result.
