Arcane blight is a disease whose exact nature continues to evade those who attempt to study it. It exclusively affects spellcasters, and appears to be more common in those who have spent a significant amount of time near The Scorched Lands. There is no known cure, though it is possible to slow or completely stop the spread of the disease if it is caught early.
