Displacer Beast

Displacer beasts are panther-like fey creatures native to the Feywild. It is believed that the drow brought them to the prime Material Plane during the elves' first foray out of the Feywild, and the drow remain the displacer beasts' primary domesticators. 

Displacer beasts are known — and feared — for their cunning and ability to phase in and out of view. They are prized war and hunting beasts, though taming one is no easy feat.
