Chapter 1: Something Wicked

On their way back from a routine mission, the party was sucked into strange happenings in the forests outside of Muretsk. They discovered that Gogloth, a druid, was attempting to corrupt a sacred grove but were able to put an end to his machinations. That wouldn't be the last that the party saw of Gogloth, however, as they learned that he played a part in the disappearances of several parishioners in Ordzina.

The party tracked down the parishioners to an abandoned drow city in the Underdark, where they also found two(!) more clones(?) of Gogloth, and a mind-controlled drow ranger. Many parishioners had already perished to Gogloth's experimentations, but a handful survived. After learning that the ranger had some familiarity with the ruins, the party enlisted him to lead them and the surviving parishioners back to the surface.

Along the way, the party encountered ghosts from the war that destroyed the city and terrible creatures which stalked them throughout. They also rescued Erelva, a sacred spider who had not yet fallen to the corruption twisting the rest of the city's "inhabitants."

One of the survivors — a young drow acolyte — fell to the creatures which lurked in the ruins, and Feyndor, a long-dormant god, possessed her body with one of the party member's help, allowing him to reestablish a presence on the Material Plane.

The party made it back to the surface with only a few casualties but found themselves far from the city where they had started. A long journey home awaited them.

Chapter 2: A Festering Wound

Far from home and safety, the party attempted to navigate its way to the nearest city. Unfortunately, they were caught between a stubborn water spirit and a large forest roiling with corruption.
