Some thought him a god. He possessed flowing silver locks and grey eyes which gave off the soothing chill of the starry night sky. His voice was like the song of angels, and sometimes even the spirits would gather to hear his songs."

Sylvanion, also called Sylvanion the Silver, is an Elvish King who is the King Under the Stars. He is one of the Three Great Kings of Elves, and is seen as the most powerful. He was the leader and head organizer of the Exile of the Elves. He is the fairest and most noble of the Elves, and also the most beautiful. Beld fashioned Sylvanion by hand, imbuing him with starlight to enhance his grace, beauty, and wisdom. This left him with silver hair and bright silver eyes. He is the most beautiful of Beld's creations. He fell in love with, courted, and married Gilris, an angel of Beld who had been sent to wait for him and his host at the Coast of Starlight. Sylvanion wears the Crown of Starlight, a crown fashioned from the brightest of the jewels from the Coast of Starlight. He rules Fangardh, a Kingdom on the coast of Yekare. Having lived in and ruled Fangardh for several millennia, Sylvanion is counted amongst the wisest of all beings in the World and has several children.
