Naron was a human sorcerer and priest. During the later reign of Abuleth, Naron was made High Priest of Mankind. During the Fall of the Kingdom of Mankind, Naron summoned a massive flood in K'deshti, giving his life in the process as part of a ritual. The water swept through the city, killing nearly everybody there, including the demonic hordes which had overtaken the city. Naron had been the High Priest of Mankind before his exile on the orders of Canoron after the murder of Abuleth and ascendancy of the Cult of the Crimson King. Naron went missing for ten years, finding Unknown in the wilds. Naron was called back to K'deshti through visions, arriving in time to see the city burning and the mass sacrificial ritual in progress. Driven to madness by the sight of Mankind's degeneration, Naron called upon dark and nameless forces, sacrificing his own body and soul and summoning a flood which covered most of the world and earthquakes which sundered entire mountain ranges.
Naron is remembered by history as the Dread Sorcerer Naron.
