Akkilia "Akki' Balasu, often called Akki of the Creed and Akki the Prophet, was a Tiefling woman who lived in the early years of the Fourth Age. As a child, she was orphaned and lived as a street urchin. At her last legs, she walked to a bridge to kill herself but was approached by a mysterious old man and a young man, who dared her to climb Mount Saril on the promise of "new life." At the peak of Mount Saril she met Beld and was given the Tablet of Saril, which contained the predecessor to the Beldic Creed. The experience caused her to undergo a religious revival and she founded a small religious order which eventually grew into the Order of Beld.
