The Western Abjad

The Western Script is the original and oldest form of the Common Script, originating in the city of Kardunash. It is used to write Common and languages which use the Common Script in western Yekare. The Western Script is an abjad, with no vowel signs existing. Vowels are instead implied through language norms and spelling.

To denote words which start with vowels and end in stressed vowels (such as "Tyria"), a special symbol is used ("4").
