The Wongangi, meaning "Swimmers" in Wongish, are the natives of the Wong Isles. They are excellent fishers and swimmers, able to move through the water at exceptional speeds. Outsiders often refer to them as Fish Men, both derogatorily and as a token of respect.
Due to the heat and humidity of their isles, the Wongagi dress lightly. Men often do not even wear shirts at all. As the Wong Isles are bustling trade stops, the Wongagi often adorn themselves with jewels and gems acquired from distant lands.
