A veritable city-within-a-city, the Dragon City is the height of Go Dynasty grandeur and the height of Go Dynasty tyranny. Thousands of enslaved bones lie beneath its foundations, and some say you can hear their angry spirits at night and that they cursed those who rule the empire to a violent fate. I myself heard no such screams when I dined with Emperor Han Qiao. However, Emperor Qiao would be poisoned within five years of our meeting. And it would only be another two years before his successor, Han Ren V, was overthrown with the entire Han Dynasty in a violent civil war. Perhaps the curse is real. Or perhaps in the cutthroat politics of the Xiao Imperial Court, I shouldn't be surprised that the 15th Dynasty of Xiao suffered the same fate as the previous fourteen.

The Dragon City of Wu Shu is the gargantuan palace complex which houses the Emperor of Xiao and serves as the capital of the Empire. The Dragon City was built in the years of the Second Dynasty by Emperor Go Ji-Zhou and reportedly led to the deaths of thousands of peasant slaves in its construction. The Dragon City has a population of roughly 10,000, and is a city within a city. The City exists solely to cater to the needs of the Emperor and the Imperial Court.
