The Morktan Mountains viewed from the Nerian Plains
The Morktan Mountains are a mountain range which almost completely encircles the Ba'hram Desert. The mountains are largely inhabited by Mountain Dwarf, divided into the two nations of Morktan and Hadrel. Aarakocra and Goliath live on the mountaintops in small, isolated communities. The Morktan Mountains are separated from the Mernel Mountains by the Pass of Highwall.
Due to the sanctity of the Mother's Mountain to the Riverfolk, they call the mountain range the Mother's Mountains.
