Hill Giants are brutish, unintelligent, savage, and gluttonous monsters created by Donere as a mockery of the Nephilim. The Hill Giants are driven by base instincts and only live to consume and kill. They roam the world, stealing and eating livestock and on occasion people.
Despite the name, they are not giants, a fact which is made clear by the following differences:
- They were created by Donere, not Ha'krrenn.
- They are mortal, only living to see 200 years compared to Giants' immortality.
- They are not composed of the elements of the world, and when they die they rot like all other life.
- They do not eat normal Giant food, like rocks, lava, cloud, etc. but are exclusively carnivorous.
