Across the nation of Aika, the blossoming of the sakura is fleeting. That is, except for the Great Sakura. This region is in eternal blossom, rich with color and petal. Though it appears to be a forest, the Great Sakura is actually one giant tree, with several offshoots growing out of it the size of normal trees. It is theorized that if the Great Sakura Tree was killed, the whole forest would wither and die.
The native people of the region are called the Sakura-jin, seemingly touched by the Sakura itself.
