Knightstone is one of major stops of the Spice Road.
Founded as a castle by the Med'ny adventurer Callyn Kushoros, over the centuries a settlement grew around the castle due to its economic prosperity and natural safety. Since its founding, it has been ruled by House Kushoros.
Knightstone was carved into a large mesa which sits on a cliff overlooking the Dune Sea. There are two gates to Knightstone, the Stone Gate, which opens at the top of the cliff it sits on, and the Dune Gate, which opens into the Dune Sea.
